Services
South West London Procurement Partnership (SWLPP) delivers its services through two core functions: Commercial and Operations. Working together, our teams provide an integrated procurement and supply chain service that supports our member Trusts in delivering excellent patient care and achieving value for patients and the wider South West London health system.
Commercial
Our Commercial Team provides strategic procurement, category management, contract management and supplier relationship management across our member Trusts.
Working closely with clinical, operational and corporate colleagues, the team uses commercial expertise, market intelligence, data and insight to identify opportunities, support evidence-based decision-making and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Through effective engagement with suppliers and the wider market, the team seeks to deliver sustainable value, encourage innovation, manage commercial risk and ensure that the goods and services our Trusts rely upon meet their operational and clinical needs.
Operations
Our Operations Team provides the operational infrastructure that supports procurement and supply chain services across our member Trusts.
The team works to ensure that our processes, systems and supply chains are efficient, resilient and responsive to the needs of our organisations. This includes supporting the effective flow and availability of goods, strengthening supply chain resilience and continuously improving the way our services operate.
The team also supports the development of digitally enabled services, including Scan4Safety principles and the use of technology, data and analytics to improve product visibility and traceability, increase efficiency and support safer patient care.
Working Together
Commercial and Operations work as one SWLPP team, combining strategic commercial expertise with strong operational delivery. Together, we support our member Trusts to make informed decisions, deliver sustainable value, strengthen supply chain resilience and ensure procurement and supply chain services contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
